Quick, spicy, juicy and gone in a jiffy!
There is nothing more to say for this superfast yet lip-smacking dish.
I came up with this when I was in a hurry and there were not many ingredients at home. At the same time food had to be different from the daily stuff and delicious too.
Ingredients
- Sausages of your choice (cut into chu
nky pieces) – 250gms - Onion chopped – 1 large
- Tomato chopped – 1 large
- Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
- Garlic chopped – 3 to 4 kernels
- Red chili powder – ½ tsp
- Green chili chopped – 2
- Cooking vinegar – 1tbsp
- Olive oil – 1tbsp
- Spring onion greens – handful for cooking plus extra for garnishing
- Salt to taste
Method:
Heat oil in a non-stick fry pan.
Add the garlic and sauté.
Add chopped onion and cook till soft and translucent.
Add the tomato and cook till soft and mushy.
Drop all sausages in to the fry pan and cook. The sausages should be done completely.
Mix in the tomato sauce, chili powder and half a cup of water. Allow the sauce to come to a boil.
Now add the handful of onion greens and salt and give it one more boil.
Pour in the vinegar, stir and cover.
Your spicy dish is ready.
Garnish with onion greens and serve with toast, parathas, pooris or eat it as it is!
